I tried to "publish" the script using the menus, but there were no complaint, and unfortunately, no scripts to pick from after attempting to publish the script... I looked through the on line doc but was not able to get it going... do you have some explicit directions for me to try?

There are two places the script can go:

1. In a plugins/ directory specific to that version of software. You can get there by hovering your mouse over the "E" button of an existing script, you'll see the path in a popup tooltip. This won't be visible for someone running another version.
2. In the common place ...shared/plugins/, which would be visible to users running any version of code (assuming all versions are installed parallel to each other). This is probably the one you want.
